Flinders is a home furnishing store with over 36,000 furniture pieces, design lamps and home accessories. The mission: turning interior dreams into reality through accessible design.
In Zaandam, Flinders has a project showroom in the Affuitenhal. There is also a design studio in Ghent and webshops for the Netherlands and Belgium.
Flinders believes in "handcrafted design that lasts generations". That means: furniture that does not follow the trend of the day, but pieces that remain beautiful for decades — and retain their value.
The webshop has a special section dedicated to sustainable design. Flinders also has a refurbishment programme: damaged furniture is restored and resold, so every piece reaches its maximum lifecycle.
In 2020 Flinders organised the Sustainable Interior Design Awards, described as "a leading prize for the most sustainable design of the moment". Proof that sustainability and aesthetics go hand in hand.
