Vitra avoids short-lived trends and unnecessary details. Products are designed for a long life — and when that life is over for one owner, it simply begins again for the next.
That means: repairs, take-back programmes and renewed warranties. Pre-owned items are sourced from exhibitions, trade fairs and showrooms.
A good example is the Tip Ton RE — made from locally recycled household waste and 100% recyclable. Design and circularity need not be opposites.
